Cemetery Management

The Town of Carrboro’s Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and upkeep of its two active cemeteries: Old Carrboro Cemetery and Westwood Cemetery. Services provided include:

  • Sale of burial plots
  • Staking of monuments and plots
  • Landscaping and general grounds maintenance

In addition to these active sites, the Town also maintains the Weaver Family Cemetery. As part of that resolution, no future burials are permitted at this location.
